Complete Part 1 (one page) only. Please send to (or, if you do not have email access, to the postal address below) as soon as possible. The format for this information is less important than the content, as it allows us to assess application numbers and start arranging potential interview locations.

Step 3

Complete Parts 1 – 4 of this form, and send to the postal address below or email a scanned copy to by 5pm Friday 23 February. Alternatively, you may email a scanned copy to  by the same date, with the paper copy following later by post.

Please write clearly in black ink or black ballpoint pen, printed or typed. Extra sheets may be used.

  • Parts 1 (again) and 2 of the application form are to be completed by the student
  • Part 3 of the application is to be completed by the parent or guardian
  • Part 4 of the application is to be completed and sent separately in a sealed envelope by the student's school principal or dean.

If you have found out about the scholarships late, do please let us know, as we may be able to offer an extension for either of the above dates.

N.B. We have extended the due date for Part 1-4 past the original Friday 8 December deadline and are still accepting applications.  Please make contact with us if you intend to apply.

Step 4

Forward us your NCEA Record of Learning (or equivalent for qualifications other than NCEA), either by email or post, as soon as possible after results are sent out.


National Finalists

Part 5 of this form is only required for national finalists. It is to be completed by the parent or guardian, and placed in a sealed envelope marked “Scholarship contribution form” and with the student’s name. Finalists must bring the envelope to final selections in March.

National finalists will also need to supply a Medical Certificate of Fitness from their usual doctor.

Regional interviews will be held in late-February / early-March 2018.

National selection will be on the 24 & 25th March 2018 and candiates need to be available for the entire weekend.

If any of the regional interview dates may be difficult for you to attend, please let us know in your application: we will do our best to make, but cannot guarantee, alternative arrangements for you.
